Like using TurboTax because it makes a complicated process uncomplicated.

long-time TT user. Great experience again. Completed my taxes early in the season but didn't submit (why submit early when I have to pay?!!!#, and when I came back to review, updates were quick and easy. My 'con' is from the fact that I have to mail my return & tax payment by 4/15, but am instructed not to mail anything until after receiving confirmation from IRS and state agencies which is expected on 4/18. TT needs to insert clarifying statement here regarding which more important - postmark #duh!# or acceptance notification.
What's great about it: easy to navigate, easy to resume when interrupted - again and again!
What's not so great: Date comparison.

Faster Than Usual!

Either I'm getting better or TurboTax is. This year was the fastest I've ever done a complex return. Year after year, TT just gets better and better. This year was the best yet!

What's not so great: Still got a few nagging blanks to cover during review, but not many!
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

Low Vision User

This SW made the tax season so much easier for me. I have low vision and need to have the ability to enlarge text and data to be able to see them. You can imagine with all the data that needs ebtered, even with the carryover from year to year. It was a great surprise a few years ago when I was able to easily enlarge the trxt/data. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!!!
And it is so easy to use, but that is why I got it in the first place.:-)
What's great about it: Able to resize the screen for easy reading

I had a question about a discharged debt in bankruptcy and did not get a good response. Also had questions about self employment taxes and it took 4 tries and 30 minutes each try to get through and still did not feel like I got the answer I needed.

I really appreciate all the reminders that make sure I
don't miss any deductions and also the calculations
that do the amortization and depreciation reports....so much easier than doing it manually. Thanks!

Turbo Tax Deluxe 2012

I have filed my returns for a number of years with Turbo Tax and have always been very satisfied. As an attorney who used to prepare returns longhand, and ceased doing returns a number of years ago, it is a much simpler preparation system. I have had errors caught immediately, the math is done for me, and I don't have to worry about transposing numbers or lines.
