Excellent Turbo-Time Saver!

Highly recommended! I couldn't file so well without it!
What's great about it: Ease of use; walks you through everything; better than a tax consultnat chargig you 5 times the price!

It would save a lot of time if the program would pick up exactly where i left off in the step by step interview process.
there is a program glitch in the Sch e worksheet in that the miscellaneous deductions won't let me erase the 'O'
What's great about it: familiar format
What's not so great: can' tpick up where left off

My 2012 Tax Return

Overall a very strong product that automates the tax return process. See cons for needed improvements. Often HSA's and other last minute contributions can be overlooked, if Turbo-Tax does not provide tips to reduce, as you are preparing your return. By me contributing an extra $1600.00 to my HSA account, I saved an additional $500 in taxes. However, I had to know to make the adjustments, as TurboTax did not recognize it with a tip.
What's great about it: Step by step instructions
What's not so great: Need to be able to view various options of reducing tasxes (especially HSA contrabutions)

I have been using turbo tax for 10 yrs. never been any problem . I lkie that it walks you through all the different things even if you think it doesn't apply to you.
What's great about it: it is real easy for the most part
What's not so great: some times it asks you too many questions

Turbo Tax Delux 2012

Overall it was a good experience (for a user who has used it for more than 5 years). There is not much in terms of Competition since H&R Block TaxCut is a relatively painful experience.
Suggestions:
1) Reduce the amount of advertisements and sales pitch
2) You should extract the Partnership data from brokerage firms so that manual filling/checks can be eliminated.

I appreciate TurboTax so much because it is like having a personal tax adviser spend the day with me and lead me down the paths I need to go in order to maximize my refund. I also appreciate the organization TTax offers me from year to year.
What's great about it: Guided tour angel of the tax filing process. Keeps me in the know about what is available as deductions.
What's not so great: Length process no matter how you slice it.
