REALLY EASY!

The most critical step with Turbo Tax is remembering to save every receipt & form you will need in one place beforehand, such as in a clear plastic pouch with a lable that says "Tax Forms & Receipts (& the year)." It will save you lots of time at tax time. You won't be hunting around in piles of papers for what you need. When you're finished, put a copy of the tax forms in the same pouch, store it in a safe place & you're done!
What's great about it: Turbo Tax reminds you of everything you should include!
What's not so great: Not sure where to find the actual tax laws?

Crushed It!!!

Started my return at noon today and was done with it, lunch and a Mountain Dew by 3:30.
Best part about using TurboTax has to be the confidence I feel that we covered all the areas necessary to file an accurate tax return. Ohh - and sure I got great return!

very easy to use, easy to read, extremely accurate, leads you down the right path, makes data entry quite easy , explains things quickly if you ask.
not any cons really, if you know what you are doing you can skip the helps and just fill in

We called to speak to a tax expert and although the wait was long, got an answer to our question and even asked a couple more. Nice personal touch.

After using TurboTax for many years, last year I bought a competitors product for a couple dollars less. It was not as easy to use and after that experience I said to myself that I was going to go back to TurboTax. I won't switch again. This product just keeps getting better every year. Very easy to use with plain language and logical formatting make it a breeze.

Love TT, one small gripe: When I calculate medical expenses it separates into several groups and types of medical expenses. It would be easier if these aligned to how you can actually get them from your records and insurance claims downloads. ie: one total for all medical rather than having to separate out from your claims records what was for hospital and what was for doctor visit copays and what was for dental, eye, etc. Still, TT is so much easier than doing it on paper it's worth it. Make sure you have a hard copy record for everything you put into this software.
What's great about it: Quick & Easy
What's not so great: Specifics hard to navigate
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
