Procrastination rewarded

As usual, I waited until the last minute, thinking I was going to owe money. Turbo Tax helped me max out my deductions and instead easily managed a surprising refund!
What's great about it: easy, step-by-step
What's not so great: intimidating at first

Got R Done

Used it for Fed, MO and KS returns.
Overall seemed to work fine. Product is fairly expensive to prepare this number of returns.
The state programs lack details or require too much investigation outside the program. This was particularly true for filing in Missouri as a Non-resident.
What's great about it: Fairly consistent from year to year, particularly the federal level
What's not so great: Splitting data on Missouri return between spouses was not well explained for each individual line item.

The program is great. I lost my UserID and couldn't do a couple of things without it. I had to call and was on hold for almost an hour, but it had to be done. Once I got to a person it still took a while, but we got it done.
What's great about it: Very easy to use
What's not so great: Couldn't remember my userID and was old hold, forever

TurboTax is very easy to use. It walks you through every possible credit/deduction imaginable. This is the third year that I've used it, and I'm sure next year will be my fourth!
What's great about it: This was so easy to use! It leads you through step by step.
What's not so great: I can't think of one.

Best COTS product

I use this product Turbo Tax from Intuit as the best COTS product in my day to day work while dealing with ERP COTS products like SAP ERP, Oracle, etc.
In my opinion Intuit products are generally well done, easy to navigate, self updating, and more.
I would recommend this anytime to anybody.
Keep up the good & great job.

Turbo Tax is the best tax preparation software that I have ever used. It would be nice to have another window showing at the top, along with federal refund and state refund (those are outstanding) that shows the maximum income level that is governing the current screen--if a deduction, such as education, cannot be taken, because the income is above a certain amount, it would be helpful to clearly see what the amount is that is causing the denial.
What's great about it: Easy and streamlined completion of taxes
What's not so great: not enough clear examples--some "help' windows do not contain income levels that deny deductions

The links and advice offered through this program are helpful. I have used Turbo-Tax for several years now and am quite pleased with it.
What's great about it: Easy to follow with a general knowledge of tax code.
What's not so great: Sometimes deductions are not clear without actually reading the section of tax code that applies.
