2012 Tax Review

The system is easy to understand and follow step by step instructions. It is also easy to enter an item which was overlooked for a given topic. As mentioned in the snapshot, the "GPS" walk through was way too detailed for me. Next time I will remember to skip that piece.
The e-mailing fee for the State return was not explained prior to selecting it (the only down side).
What's great about it: Easy to understand plain English

Great program that knows who I am and can lead me through the current tax laws.
What's great about it: Lead me through the fine details to minimize the amount we owed.
What's not so great: I didn't like paying this much.
Pros: I bought or sold investments

I've used TurboTax for many years - always satisfied. Believe I don't miss any deductions and instructions are easy to follow.
What's great about it: Easy to follow, used for many years, always satisfied
What's not so great: Don't like scrolling down after each set of deductions complete. Why not go to the next deduc section instead of top

The only problem I had is when I wanted to e-file my FIT return and mail my state return. It seemed the instructions were slanted towards e-filing both, but not one or the other.
