Not as good as last year

There was a error that would not go away related to Line 3 of 1099DIV and the 1250 form. It seemed to stay at $1 even though I deleted and re-entered.
Too many adds for extras.
What's great about it: Steady projuct
What's not so great: Too much scrolling

usually if i don't understand i wait a day and reread and then it makes sense t o me.
What's great about it: turbo tax talks in regular language, not legalize
What's not so great: You might start with a fill in list--dr., lis tag, medicine, and then have it on a post it note for people to refer to

TURBO TAX IS A GREAT PROGRAM, THOUGH IT DOES TAKE SOME BETTER KNOWLEDGE TO FILE ADDITIONAL SCHEDULES SUCH AS HOME BUSINESS ETC.
What's great about it: SIMPLE, STEP BY STEP
What's not so great: SOME DIFFICULTY WHEN USING ADDITIONAL SCHEDULES

so, I did my daughter's taxes and it walked me through each section step by step, I submitted e-filing, and my return got rejected, but turbo tax told me what went wrong and how to fix my submission, and woohoo, sure enough went through the second time without a hitch. Great program for even the most of no minds, would recommend in a heartbeat, even imported all my deductions from it's deductible, making life so simple. Again, great program!
What's great about it: walked me through each section step by step

For the procrastinator

Been using Turbo Tax for about 10 years. Great that it imports the information from prior year to minimize typos and to remind you of certain data needing to be updated. The highlighlighted support information is helpful to explain the confusing IRS terminology. Since I don't usually sit down and complete everything at once or much in advance, it is great to plug in the information as you have time and as received.
What's great about it: Great to be able to input info as you get it and jump around to different categories at your convenience
What's not so great: Fee for state e-file is high. Massachusetts has its own e-file for free so why pay Turbo Tax?

What's not so great: sometimes the fields lose focus on final review

Second Chance

I had used turbotax in the past but was disapointed with results and had switched to another providor, recently was refferred to product by friend due to convieance. Was impressed with the support provided and will consider purchasing in the future.
What's great about it: Quick, easy, double check and provided side notes on help topics
