A Deluxe Job

I've been using this product for at least 10 years. Each year it improves making my job easier.
What's great about it: Uploading data. Clear, concise screens.
What's not so great: Unable to pinpoint where I left off. Need to begin category again

Turbo Tax Deluxe, Turotax Premere

I have been using Turbo Tax for 14 years. I mostly use the Deluxe version. In years that I have bought and sold stocks I have found the Premiere version quite useful when determining capital gains/losses. A fool proof program. Just enter the data off the tax forms and it does the rest. Electronic filing is convenient and affordable.
What's great about it: Direct, thorough,complete and easy
What's not so great: None
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Sometimes confusing

When attempting to Efile I got message that I neede a zipcode for a w2. I did not have any w2s and the instructyions to remove it on the website help- text werer incorrect. I did manage to find a way to remover the offending w2

Fast and easy!

Overall, TurboTax is easy to use, comprehensive and reliable. I've been using TurboTax to e-file my returns since 2004. I have not encountered any issues with any of my filings over the years. I love it! (:o))
What's great about it: Very easy to use! Easily imports info from previous tax returns and from W-2s electronically to minimize input errors.
What's not so great: Some "help" explanations are hard to follow and understand.

Lot of inputing

Great flow of program. took me through all the questions in great order. Shop around price differ from vendor. Problem getting ADP and 1099 to load.
Help menu needs diagrams of W2 and all forms. Explaining boxes.
What's great about it: Smooth flow of program
What's not so great: Could not get 1099 or W2 (ADP) to load

I was able to file by first importing my last years tax info. This is very helpful for comparison purposes and it saved me a lot of typing concerning my personal information on th first page.

What are they talking about?

Can't figure out why the commercial for other tax products say Turbo Tax is a hard product to navigate through. Just answer the questions....the product will do everything else.
If this dummy can do it, anyone can. Have been using Turbo Tax for over 10 years. It's truly a product the lives up to KISS
