Turbo Tax

I have been using turbo tax for about 15 years maybe more. Back when they were like 2-4 floppy disks long. I don't understand why others still choose to do the paper and pencil method....YUCH!! Very user friendly!!
What's great about it: Simplicity, Easy for a child
What's not so great: None I can think of

User Friendly and Fast

I love Turbo Tax! I use to pay an accountant to do my husband's small business taxes and our household taxes. Now, I do it myself and save those accountating fees every year!
What's great about it: Easy Guide makes doing your taxes fast and easy
What's not so great: Sometimes I don't understand some of the 'more information' items

if you want a fast and easy way w/o the human errors and everything spelled out for you,this is the way to go.its worth every penny you spent for the disk.and yes even a monkey could use this.
What's great about it: easiest thing to use
What's not so great: paying for the state refund
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Many happy years of use

I have used TurboTax for many years now and have always found it to be a pleasant experience. It is especially convenient once you have filed since the next year it will import your previous return as the basis for the new year. If you are fortunate and not much has changed, there is little work to do. I recommend Turbo Tax to anybody who asks.
What's great about it: Well guided, thorough help
What's not so great: We have to pay taxes

Tax refunds made easy

This is are 4th year using TurboTax. I took a chance on doing it myself and I'm glad I did. It takes my about 4 hours and it saves me the time to sit and wait to get my taxes done. Great Job Turbo Tax.
What's great about it: Turbotax gets easier every year. It keeps finding more deductions then you can image.
What's not so great: On reviewing my taxes, I just wish I could go to the form without going up and clicking on the form icon.

Pleased Procrastinator

I was thrilled with the program... while there are still a lot of terms that I simply will never understand, Turbotax explains and walked me through each step of the process. In a very short time I was complete (which is good as I waited until the last min. to begin) with both my Federal and State returns.
What's great about it: Ease of use, explaination of terms
What's not so great: Many IRS terms

Use Turbo Tax every year

Excellent product that I will continue to use every year. I just don't like the extra documents that print that I don't need like the quarterly Estimated Tax vouchers. I also like that the program checks for updates when you start the program.
What's great about it: Leads you through the return, completes necessary forms and does all of the calculations like AMT
What's not so great: Don't like that it prints out Estimated Tax vouchers that I don't need, and some other documents that wastes paper.
