What's great about it: Easy to use!

Honestly, I'm not sure how it could be any better. It's the only tax program I have ever used.
What's great about it: The Step-by-Step walk through.
What's not so great: Nothing

EASY PEASY

When I could not switch back to freedom from basic. I purchased the deluxe package with free one state filling which was cheaper than paying full price at the check out.
What's great about it: Easy to follow instructions.
What's not so great: Went from Freedom to Basic by accident and could not switch back and charge me full price for it.

Software was very easy to follow and made making any corrections very easy. I like the fact that you can work on your return for any time you have and quit and then go back to it any time and go right back to where you stopped earlier.

This year's TurboTax experience

As a 10 year user of TurboTax, I'm generally satisfied but the experience was very frustrating at times this year! For instance: a bond fund had tax free dividends but. for 3 or 4 screens after filling out the initial page the tax free effect was not shown and left me wondering if I had made a data-entry error. eventually it showed up on recap. Toward the end, I changed my mind and decided to give in to the blackmail and pay for Efiling our State return. Turbotax then made me go through a @15 page walk-through #AGAIN# before I could get back to the filing page. Poorest programming I have come across this year!
I will probably NOT use TurbaTax next year and see how the competition treats is users.
What's great about it: Relative ease and thoroughness of entering data once you get to the page
What's not so great: Lack of clear, easy means to return to a SPECIFIC "page"

Works great

I've used Ttax since it was first announced. So it is perfect as it remembers all my info and makes the unpleasant task of filing taxes a reasonable task. Don't know what I would do without it.
What's great about it: I don't have a very complicated return and TTax makes it easy to figure it all out.
What's not so great: The override funtion is a bit confusting. I put something in the wrong place and it was hard to delete this numbers

Once again money well spent. 7th year using Turbo Tax. always pleased with results.
