TurboTax Deluxe for Mac

For users that need to see, access and understand the data as it is entered and then go back to edit or add detail, this software does not work as well as it used to. I have been a Mac and MacInTax - TurboTax user for over 15 yrs and have seen a compromise in one's ability to get around with the current version.
What's great about it: Simple
What's not so great: Navigaition and understanding of how to get around, enter data, see effects of data, has diminished over the years.

Taxes a Sinch

Turbo tax is the only program I'll use for taxes. It helps makes filing yout taxes simply simple. With the Step by Step process you cover all the tax areas that with just a few basic questions. For more advanced afficionados, you can review the tax forms directly and make the changes (although I dont se why you would have to). Turbo tax allows you to e-file 5 tax forms; which is great if you are the tax guy in your family. This helps save tons on filing fees. I've been using Turbo Tax for years now and can say that I enjoy doing my taxes and getting them done right. A few years ago I did a comparison between one of my familys tax return from a local tax preparer and turbo tax. The local accountant did a good job, covering all the basic areas; as did Turbo tax. Although turbo tax did not find anything missing or any aditional moneis; the cost of the local accountant was about 4 times that of Turbo tax. That was good enough for me!
What's great about it: Ease, Speed, Assited preparation..
What's not so great: Its not Free.. Lol

2012 TT Review

Each year the program gets better. When I have my records organized, turbo tax leads me through the process with pertinent questions regarding my income and deductions. Also, being able to go back to a form quickly makes this task easier.Being able to e-file at the end of the process is just one more big plus. Keep up the good work.
What's great about it: Fast,Accurate and complete. Automatic delivery each year of the new TurboTax program
What's not so great: None that I can think of.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

Took a little time - I was late getting it in, but made it - thanks to Turbo Tax!
