Don't Ever Pay Someone Else to Prepare your Taxes

I Started Using Turbo tax 7 or so years Ago, and will Never Pay any one to prepare my taxes again, it is easy to use walks you through every step,explains Why you are doing what you are doing , so you are not just blindly entering info,as I said in the Pros section if you can read,data enter have even the most elementary skills with a computer you can file your own taxes at a fraction of the cost . HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT
What's great about it: If you Can Read & open a file on a Computer you can file your own taxes with this program!
What's not so great: Some times it take a bit to figure out how to changed some think if you have to revisit area, but not impossible!

I've used TurboTax for many years now and wouldn't consider using anything else. The ability to easily navigate through the quagmire of a tax return never ceases to amaze me.
What's great about it: Easy to follow steps, detailed research available

The mechanics of utiliizng TURBO TAX is just what lay persons as myself need to make completing our returns less laborious and less expensive. Tax Preparers are now charging entirely too much for the average person.

Entering of your Interest & Dividends amounts to accounts you had in the previous year was a little cumbersome. It would be nice if you could choose to enter your $ amounts like you do when choosing to enter your Property Taxes or Vehicle Registration Fees.
What's great about it: Like that you can choose to have help or not
What's not so great: Slow entering Interest & Dividend $ amounts for accounts used in previous year.
