Always easy in spite of difficult tax issues

I moved to Turbo tax five years ago and have found it picks up all of my odd and little known tax issues. I have a housing allowance, have opted out of FICA and have odd deductions. Greatly decreases my time working on taxes. I am very confident in this program.
What's great about it: can tweak as more info collected
What's not so great: first time navigation could be hard

Smooth sailing

I have been using Turbo Tax for many years and I always see how every year the software is even better & easier to process a Federal Return. The ability to transfer data from the past filing year is also exceptional.
Very satisfied with no complaints to date.
What's great about it: ease of use to completly file return to include speed of refund
What's not so great: no Cons noticed to date
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Easy to file

This software makes it easy to move through the process of filling out forms and filing your taxes. However, I wished to do a detailed review on why certain deductions were different or no longer allowed. It was difficult to navigate to detailed information and in some cases there was no explanation on why I did not receive a deduction that was allowed in previous tax years. It would be nice if there was a reference that stated a law change or if a change in income bracket affected being able to take a deduction or not. After all, I have been using TT for years now and this software should be able to compare tax years and hi-light for us the differences and why.
What's great about it: Guides you through the different forms and deductions
What's not so great: Hard to review details in forms

quick and stress free

Overall I liked this product. This is my 4th year using turbo tax. I like that it automatically inputs muc of my information.

Easy and Quick

A little frustration at the end when it asked me if I wanted to deduct the state filing fee from my return. After filling out the approval form Turbo informed me that since I was not getting a federal return - a filing fee deduction was not available. I guess I was naive enough to think the fee could have been deducted from the state return. Why not eliminate that option if federal taxes are owed?
What's great about it: Easy to use - Just entered requested data, answered specific questions and Turbo completed my forms.

What's great about it: I ahve been using TurboTax more than 20 years and has always worked out
What's not so great: No support for Form 709, final updates 3 days before dead line
Pros: I bought or sold investments
