April Fifteenth Follies

I have been using TurboTax for years. Every year, there are fewer and fewer glitches to the point that the program is darn near perfect. Information populated from the previous year's return has always been accurate. I have never been able to find an error!
Now, all you have to do is write a new program for my employer's computer system!

What's great about it: The questions are easy to understand and flow nicely from one topic to the next.
What's not so great: Cannot navigate back to a specific page without going through the section.

After completing our taxes with another company I put off filing because according to their calculations we owed a total between federal & state approximatly $1900. I thought today...April 13 I would try Turbo Tax out of desperation really because we do not have that extra cash at this time, I am Soooooo glad I did!!! Tubo Tax is saving us approxmatly $1200. Woo Hoo!!!

too many places to make simple errors...too many places where things were not explained effectively...too many places period!
What's not so great: paid for state prep but had to add own info, then at end, your total didn't agree with amount owed to state!

Turbotax the best in tax software

I used Turbotax for 20 years and never has been any problems.
If you can read English and understand the questions, the program will do every thing for you.
After I used it for couple years I become an expert, I had helped fiends and relatives with advice and suggestions for theirs tax returns. They all ask where I did learn those things? My answer was “Turbotax”
I love it and I don't what I will do with out.
My suggestion to “Turbotax” is to have an option to download for a price difference an upgrade to a higher version, because sometime things change from one year to an other and the version you are used with may not completely cover all the issues.
