I Love Turbo Tax

I've been using TurboTax for 7 years and every year it seems to get easier. Some years have been more complicated than others, but I feel like the software continues to improve on an already great solution.
What's great about it: Easy to use - makes things simple
What's not so great: sometimes asks for things that aren't applicable

If one has all the necessary data at hand, doing the taxes with TurboTax is simple and easily understood. Even for a complex return TurboTax is easy to use.
What's great about it: Simple questions and answers
What's not so great: So many questions, but I guess they are necessary

Whoever writes Massachusetts does not have clue about the state / municipal tax exempt retirement systems which blocks a possible electronic return.
The real down side is you have to pay to have a defective return e-filed.

Fast and Easy

I love that doing my taxes isn't a massive chore. It is so much easier when all of last year's information is just transferred right into this year's tax forms.
What's great about it: Loved the speed and efficiency.
What's not so great: Fee to e-file state taxes.

SOOO much easier than doing it myself. This is my second year and the first year efiling. The integration with other websites like the one needed to acquire the efile PIN is seamless. The one problem it had was with the Massachusetts HC requirement if more than one filer has coverage.
What's great about it: Takes you through the pain step by step.
What's not so great: Had trouble with Mass Health Care requirement.
