Turbo Tax is the way to go!

Whether a simple return to a more complex profile of taxable scenarios, Turbo Tax makes it simple to navigate through each section of filing returns. Helpful links and tips are provided in every section to understand tax laws and required information. I wouldn't use anything else!
What's great about it: Quick and easy system with guided question/answer format for maximum deduction-finding
What's not so great: None come to mind

Simplicity At It's Best!

I've been using Turbo Tax since 1992 and it has really stepped up to the plate of making preparing taxes easier. Nobody enjoys having to file taxes, but this software certainly makes the process a lot simpler and intuitive.
What's great about it: What an improvement Importing from my Financial Institutions
What's not so great: It can be annoying with the pictures of people "talking" you through.

Great 'til the end

All is always great until the end when error correction is needed. It is sometimes not easy to understand the error or how to solve the situation. Ended up needing to create three separate Schd E worksheets as the controls would not allow farm rental income and royalty income on the same farm to be on the same worksheet as it has in past years. Several hours lost in trying to "fix" the problem. Ended up deleting previous data and creating separate worksheets with unique names for each type of income and expense category.. Maybe next year will be easier with this format in the file.
Overall, still a great product. Re-learning each year is the bump in the road.
What's great about it: My eighth year using TurboTax. Always reloads prior year info so simplifies data entry. Walks through the process.
What's not so great: Error check at end was difficult to sort through and do corrections needed in format needed.

I have been using Turbo Tax for several years and find it very easy to use and to follow. Very easy to save and return at a later date to finish.
