Great program! First time it had a problem

Turbo Tax guided me thru my return as always, making the hard decisions and calculations. This is the first time, for many years, that I had a problem. Paying for the state return with my credit card did not work. I had to phone in for help and to pay by phone. The wait was long, but the payment finally got made.
What's great about it: Guides you thru your return and makes all the hard decisions.
What's not so great: Paying for state return with credit card did not work.

That was quick!

I like to use Turbo Tax because each step is well-organized and the instructions are clear. My question (about finding where to enter a solar tax credit) was answered clearly. Though I put off filing until just before the deadline, there really is no reason to do so with Turbo Tax.
What's great about it: Ease of use
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Quick Prepare

Finished my taxes in two days. The process was quick and all the areas had an explanations. Last year we paid somebody to do this and could have saved the expense and time. Thank you Turbotax.

Fuzzy but let the money roll...

We moved from Ohio to NY so we ended up buying the extra state program. It was easy to do after finishing the first state. I would have appreciated links to the states "requirements" for what determines residency. My husband did not live in Ohio the entire year but is still a Ohio resident because we had our home until it sold, hadn't change vehicle registrations...etc. That was an area that wasn't the smoothest to navigate through Turbo Tax. We have used all different kinds of tax software. I thought Turbo Tax did really well for us! Huge refund that Turbo Tax found us an extra $5000 deduction. Go Turbo Tax.
What's great about it: Program moved you through questions fairly quickly, the review and reminder to recheck after changing forms!
What's not so great: When you reviewed you had to check the "none of the above" again....grrrr!

Great software

We have used Turbo Tax for the past four years and will continue to do so in the future. The product has improved each time we use it.
What's great about it: Gets easier to work through every year
What's not so great: Some of the highlights in state filing were confusing
