Turbo Tax Deluxe

This is a great product -- we use Turbo Tax every year and it is always easy and effective!
What's great about it: easy to use
What's not so great: none
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Smooth sailing, and no High cost CPA!

for the last several years I have paid a CPA to do my taxes because I was worried about missing something. So last year I had the accountant do the return and then I used TurboTax and compared the 2. There was a 12.00 difference on the 2 returns. TurboTax provided a reason for the differences. I took this to the accountant and they agreed. Last time I paid hundreds to do what I can do for the cost of the software!
What's great about it: Walked me through the entire return. Easy access to the experts. Easy to understand.
What's not so great: None for me.

Fastest Filing Ever!

Extremely easy to use. Doing my taxes was simple, straight forward and best of all took very little time. I used to spend a whole day if not multiple days filling out forms and double checking everything. The last two years using TurboTax has been so much better.
What's great about it: Fast, Easy, Don't forget anything
What's not so great: Slightly confused at times where the prepopulated numbers come from when you click to the next screen.

We like the instant filing and speedy (1 hour for Federal and 2 hours for State acknowledgements of filing.
What's great about it: speed, ease of use, everything necessary is covered
What's not so great: can't go directly to a subject (must scroll through all forms to find the one needed

Easiest yet!

Charging to get my state refund after selling me a package that included the state filing is disingenuous.
Electronic transmissions of refunds is much cheaper (for the taxing authority that mailing a paper check.
What's great about it: New format was simple and direct - much easier than previous years.
What's not so great: Being charged to get a state refund and after paying for TT Deluxe w Free State leaves a bad taste

2012 Tax Turmoil!

I love Turbo tax's evolution to help with things like espp. Keep up the good work.
What's great about it: Loved using turbo tax. Taxes have just become too complicated to do on your own.
What's not so great: Had some troubles updating.
Pros: I bought or sold investments
