Thnk it's Great - Used it for Years

I've used Turbotax for many years because of the myriad of tax forms which have to be completed and numbers from one page that must be brought back to a different section, effecting the entire return.
My wife and I live on our Social Security, investment income and the savings we accumulated over 40 years. The ability to "download" information directly from our investment account brokers, such as Merrill Lynch, is really helpful as I don't have to enter all that data by hand myself.
Lastly, I'm always confident that forms and information provided are the latest published by the IRS and don't feel compelled to watch the newspapers or call an accountant to get the latest information.
Thank you for your product and your help.

I was procrastinating, because I thought I had a form that had been filled out incorrectly - but TurboTax asked all the right questions and lo and behold, everything worked out well. Tax return complete and sent in a matter of just a couple of hours - and most of that was spent hunting for 1 more piece of paper with information........
What's great about it: The question I had was already addressed in the software - no biggy.

Easy and Thorough

They do the reading of the tax laws and walk you through to make sure you legally get all the tax credits you so deserve.
What's great about it: Walk you through every step with ease
What's not so great: none
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Thank God for Turbo Tax

Turbo tax does an excellent job of explaining everything, including why you need to contribute or how to get the maximum deduction. After paying hundreds to tax professionals every year, this is a true joy to use.
What's great about it: Quick, easy, simple, fun

I have been using turbo tax for quite a few years now and like it that is way I always come back. It would be nice if turbo tax could let you know what you might want to do in future years to get the most tax relief.
What's great about it: Review last year tax with current years
What's not so great: It would be nice if pop ups came up with helpful tips for next year

I have used Turbo Tax for several years and only once in those years did I use an accountant. Immediately I regretted it. I was over charged for something that would be a minimal cost if I would have done it myself with Turbo Tax. It's easy, helpful, and provides all the tools necessary to do your taxes yourself. I won't cheat on you again!

great - excellent - will always use turbo tax for both fed and state returns !! did both in less than 1 1/2 hours !! sweet !! haved used yall since first came out on market and never been disappointed !!
What's great about it: user friendly for non accountant types like myself ... quick and easy and painless !!
What's not so great: had a software glitch - found a way around it though
