The best way to go!

Turbotax has been my choice for filing my tax returns for the past several years. It's very user friendly. I especially like the feature where it can input interest and dividends by accessing the financial company directly. I will continue to use it in the years to come.
What's great about it: Very user friendly

Great Program

Great program. I've been using it for the past 5 years and will continue to do so in the future. It really does make the tax form process a lot easier.
What's great about it: Easy to use and it helped me understand the tax process
What's not so great: Got an error saying the file could not be saved, but it did actually save it?

Sneaky

I found more deductions than I got when I had somebody else prepare for me in previous years. I'll use it again, provided everything goes OK with the feds and state on this years.
What's great about it: Easy, thorough, knows what forms are needed & fills them out
What's not so great: Sneaks another twenty bucks out of you when you efile state
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Have used TurboTax for several (tax) years now. The utility of the s/w walk-through on each step of the income and deduction sides is the best feature. It's also quite useful to have TurboTax search for any federal and/or state updates to the respective government tax laws/policies. Strong recommendation based upon the ease of use of this particular s/w tax preparation system.
What's great about it: Electronic Walk Through All the Federal & State Forms
What's not so great: User Should Be Informed That They Need to Get All Records in Order Before Starting the Data Input Process

Taxes made easy

Turbo tax is very easy to navigate. Easy to back up to previous sections and make changes. Transfers previous years data. Walks you through all the sections of the tax return by asking easy to understand questions. The screens are clear and easy to read. Not cluttery. I like it.

good and getting better

very good product. help links are good. get tired of the loops required to go back and check something and then have to go thru multiple steps again. example use of vehicle in business applications. 5 pages over and over??
What's great about it: side by side YoY comparisons very helpful. downloads from financial sites saves loads of time
What's not so great: get tired of the "loops" when exploring on my own. should be some kind of way to go back without redoing steps

It is interesting to know that there is an available product that is so simple and affordable to help in filing taxes. What is very distinctive is that it explains in layman's terms each and every item.
