love turbo tax hate taxes!!!!

As I said Quick & Easy. I feel assured I paid the least amount of taxes that are required.
What's great about it: Easy, quick and the only pain was paying taxes.
What's not so great: Saving forms for records was a little confusing.

I have used TurboTax for years. I like that fact that my returns are checked for errors, the ease of using TurboTax, and the electronic transmittal of my returns to Fed and State.

Fantastic for a first time user

This was my first time to ever file my taxes on my own. My ex was a CPA and always handled that. TurboTax was recommended by a friend and was a Godsend. TurboTax did my thinking for me! :) Thank you!!!

This is the first time I used TurboTax...I used the "other" program in the marketplace. TurboTax is more thorough, and the step-by-step process they present is great!

Great Software

Turbo Tax software is a superb way for me to file my taxes. Prior year information is pulled in to help make this year's return faster to complete. The screens are easy to follow and thorough in tax coverage. I feel confident in my tax returns.

Regarding foreign bank accounts/ foreign interest in the Federal return, you could maybe improve some things. There is an entry 1099-OID, which does not apply to me. Later on, I managed to enter foreign bank accounts I hold, but in the general overviews, there is no item 'foreign accounts'. Also, it is not clear in the State return if foreign bank account interest has to be entered.
That's all. In general, I am very happy with TurboTax and will certainly continue to use it - it's a nightmare just to think on filing my returns without your program #I used to do that, so I know ...# !
What's great about it: Very clear sentences, no cryptic language or funny abbreviations.
What's not so great: Really nothing I do not like.
