2012 Return

I found that this year I didn't run into many problems. I especially like the way that the program can import most of my information from various financial institutions and also can take the carry-over items from last year and post them into this year's return. Once I made sure that I had all the information, it didn't actually take too long. In the past I encountered some confusing questions when doing the state return, but not this year. I've found that if I just keep using the same program year after year, I get used to it, and it seems to import everything correctly from last year. That's a time saver.
What's great about it: The importation of prior data went well
What's not so great: Took too long to start.

Don't think I will ever use another tax software, Turbo Tax makes an unpleasant task as easy as possible. Holds my hand every step of the way!

Easier than riding a bike!

I used to have an accountant, but switched to Turbotax several years ago. My tax situation is relatively simple, and after reviewing what the accountant did, I figured "how hard can it be?" I hate doing taxes, and almost always put it off to the last minute. Turbotax is so super-easy to use, I can just answer a couple of screens and save it to come back later if I get bored. This way I make gradual progress. It's also great to see your refund "real-time" at the top of the screen. You can easily go back and revisit other sections of your return without getting lost. Turbotax "dots all the i's and crosses all the t's" for you, and even lets you know your risk for an audit. A truly great product that gets better every year. Please keep up the great work!!
What's great about it: Super easy to use, just asks you questions, quick and painless
What's not so great: Who likes doing taxes? Turbotax minimizes time and frustration.

did not expect I was going to get Refund

Turbotax helped me to maximize my deductions and get refund fast. There is no tool that can beat Turbotax.

What's not so great: none
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

I've used TurboTax for years and find it extremely easy to use.
What's great about it: easy to work with
What's not so great: a bit difficult to find answers to certain questions w/out asking a tax pro on-line

Turboed My Taxes

Turbo Tax is ease. Totally a breeze to use. I usually wait until the last few days to do my taxes. Turbo Tax guides me through every step of the tax return process. When I am not sure about something, Turbo Tax has the help I need. I wound never use any other software.
What's great about it: Ease of use and total confidence in the accuracy of my return.
