I have been using Turbo Tax for years and really like the transfer of information, especially for our small business. However, in looking at the forms this year, I am really concerned that someting isn't right. We will see. I do like the ease of going to forms when you indicate that there are errors. I highly recommend the product and know that most of my family has gone to Turbo Tax versus other tax programs.

MORE IMPORTS/LESS DATA ENTRY

IF YOU HAVE GAMBLING WINS WHICH GENERATE W2G's FROM SEVERAL CASINOS YEAR AFTER YEAR, YOU HAVE TO REPEATEDLY ENTER ALL THE CASINO INFO (NAME, ADDRESS, FEIN #; ETC) IN ADDITION TO THE WINNINGS INFO. I ESTIMATE THAT 1/3 OF MY FILING TIME WAS SPENT ENTERING THE SAME DATA THIS YEAR AS I HAD THE TWO PREVIOUS YEARS. WHY CAN'T TURBO TAX CREATE AUTOMATIC IMPORTS FOR THE ENTIRE PRIOR YEAR'S TAX RETURN AND I CAN DELETE AND ADD INFO AS NECESSARY.
What's great about it: IMPORTS "ORDINARY" INCOME DATA YEAR TO YEAR
What's not so great: DOES NOT IMPORT "OTHER INCOME" YEAR TO YEAR

Years and Years of Using Turbo Tax ROCKS!

I started using Turbo Tax at least 7-8 years ago. I thought it would be a lot easier to complete my taxes and both our kids taxes...which I did for them. It was very easy each year going over the previous year and comparing the input. My kids are both married now BUT they now use my Turbo Tax down load to do their taxes for their households! Thank you Turbo Tax we will continue to return to process our returns LOL!!!
I put I have kids because not only do I have big kids we have grand kids now too!!! But not on our taxes :-(
What's great about it: Easy steps, easy to follow instructions, fast input and great on error checks
What's not so great: None that I can think of
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Overall Ill use Turbo tax again it was easy and very helpful
What's great about it: IT was easy and helpful to see what I could do as a young teacher
What's not so great: Got confused a coule times in going back and reviewing but got the hang of it.

I've used Turbo Tax since 2002. I've found the HELP to be less helpful in each of the previous 2 versions and 2012 was even less helpful. Especialy in hadling the HSA elements.
What's great about it: Process is fairly straight forward
What's not so great: The Help options accessed in this version were typically NOT helpful. I had to go to IRS site and read up on HSA info,

I have used Turbo Tax for several years now and have always been able to complete my taxes in a reasonable amount of time without hassle.
What's great about it: I like the way you can maneuver around in the program.
What's not so great: Asked for more info to e-file after I made the payment options.
Pros: I moved, My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Hav used turbo tax for years, alway found it to be easy and accurate. I recomend this software to all my friends and associates, even the CPA's
What's great about it: Easy to use, walks you through all topics
What's not so great: Does require som basic knowledge of the tax rules

Fast & Easy

This program takes all the work out of filing tax returns! You will need to compile your personal information regarding income, expences and so forth but at that point all you need to do is plug in the numbers and answer the questions! One hour and your done!
