Turbo Tax is great!

Turbo Tax is awesome I've been using it every year since 2004, everything is easy to go through on there software you just need your paperwork ready. There are some situations that you could get yourself in trouble by over exaggerating your deductions but if you keep yourself honest and read up on the deductible expenses your good, sometimes you will need to resort to a web search for more info. Only thing I have a complaint on is sometimes the definitions of deductions are hard to comprehend, a little more explanation would help people like me on some of the tax laws.
What's great about it: Ease of filing
What's not so great: Explanation of some deductions, it would be helpful if some of them where put in terms a normal person could understand.

So easy!

TurboTax is for anyone who doesn't feel like they know what they're doing on taxes. From someone who has had my mom, then an accountant doing my taxes, I was worried. But it was so easy!
What's great about it: Walks me through everything... gives confidence in submitting
What's not so great: I didn't like that I had to pay this year!

Liked how the program imported all my information from last year. Was less to fill in. Was a lot easier than last year

What I don't like about Turbo Tax

Turbo Tax is the only tax software I've ever used, so I cannot accurately compare it to others. I can only give my opinion.
I believe the layout should more closely resemble the actual tax forms. People who do their own taxes are not idiots, or think they are not idiots.
I understand dumbing down the process to assure accuracy, but com'on man! We don't need the fluffy puppy version.

Astonishing simplicity!

This is perhaps the most user friendly software I've ever encountered. It takes the immensely complex issue of income taxes and breaks it down into clear and simple questions for the user to answer. If you want additional information, it's contained either immediately within the software or on the website (which you access with just a click of the mouse). Once you've entered your data initially, it becomes instantly available when you install the software for the following year - it finds the file on your computer and transfers the data to your new return. What a wonderful product!
What's great about it: Use it once and you're set for life!

Easiest to use - best at finding deductions!

Using Turbo Tax saves me hundreds of dollars over using a tax professional. It's easy to use and follow and finds all the deductions. Save yourself some money and do it yourself!!
