Good Program, Improvement Suggestion

I've used turbo tax for over 20 years. It leads you through everything you need to do your taxes. The AMT calculation in relation to deductions needs to be updated though - I'm not saying the calculations are wrong, but a description of what is going on is needed. When I put in my real estate tax, TT said that I just saved a bundle on my tax bill..... Great, but, um, no. My tax refund did not change at all after putting in real estate taxes of $11k. It seems that the AMT kicked in and balanced out all of the benefit of a real estate tax deduction.. So, if AMT kicks in to negate any real estate tax deduction, it would be nice if TT told me that instead of telling me that I jest saved a bundle with a real estate tax deduciton.
What's great about it: Easy to use
What's not so great: AMT vs. real estate tax deduciton explanations need updating

2012 Turbo Tax Review

I have used Turbo Tax for several years and it continues to meet all my needs. It is cost effective and simple to use. Guided reviews are especially helpful. I always feel confident that I have entered information correctly and have received appropriate tax credits.
What's great about it: Reasonably priced and easy to use

Pretty easy

I tried the H&R Block program last year but came back to Turbo Tax and plan to continue using Turbo Tax in the years to come.
What's great about it: Being walked through all the areas and extra informtion provided if needs
What's not so great: Didn't warn me to use total state of Delaware tax owed and not just withholdings.

Finally done with the dreaded Taxes 2012!!

As always I look to Turbo Tax to do my taxes. This is and always has been a great product for the do it your selfer. I like to take control of my finances and use this product to save my money. But, it is always nice to finish. Thank you Turbo Tax 2012!!!
What's great about it: Always the easiest to use best interface!

I've filed taxes for other people using Turbo, and have been using Turbo since the 90's. Never even considered using any other program.
On 3 occasions the IRS sent letters stating they found errors in my return. In all 3 cases I proved to them it was THEIR input error on THEIR end that caused the problem, not my input, or Turbo calcs. The backed off all 3 times. A good feeling. :-)
What's great about it: I like the linear thought process, and having Turbo asking a 2nd time to ensure your input

Dead at the End

The new method of saving to a PDF really ruined my Turbo Tax experience. I was not able to print my returns. I have no hard record. Turbo Tax made it really difficult to take care of business. I don't know if I will purchase Turbo Tax for next year. I will probably go a different route. What a disappointment it was. All went well until that last page when I was "Dead at the End" and had to call the IRS to make the e-filing a valid option. What a pain taxes were this year. Turbo-Tax, you blew it. Fix that printing issue or count me out as a customer.
What's great about it: All good until the last page- print and save
What's not so great: Not able to print. PDF is not universally printable

Easier than ever

I have been using Turbo Tax for many years and have always had a positive experience. I even took my return for a review last year to a tax service and they were not able to make any changes that Turbo Tax didn't catch.
