What took so long

It took a long time to receive my stat program, about 10 hours, and two or three restarts on my NEW computer. Too, too long,
What's great about it: For the most part it went smooth, BUT
What's not so great: Took a LONG LONG time to up date for state
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

I love TurboTax. Detailed, accurate, fast, intuitive. Tells me everything I need to know in a linear, logical thread; each year it imports all my info from previous year, totally simplifies the input process. It connects to key institutions (employer, bank, investment houses) and pulls in required supporting documents. This adds accuracy and eliminates the hassle and annoyance of pursuing those documents manually.
TurboTax is simple; anybody can follow it.

Great Way to Go

I like Turbo Tax as I can file all the returns necessary with one purchase of software. However, when it says you are to receive 1 free State submission, you should receive it and not be charged. I am on the 3rd return and have had to pay for all 3
What's great about it: Easy step by step instructions and helpful information
What's not so great: charge for submitting State when you are to receive a free one

I use Turbo Tax every year and will continue to do so. I highly recommend this product.
What's great about it: I like using Turbo Tax because is so simple, easy and quick.
What's not so great: Some forms are hard to find

Waited until 11th hour to file my return but using TurboTax greatly assisted in completing both my Fed and State returns within a few short hours.
What's great about it: straight forward and easy to understand

I have never had a problem with Turbo Tax and have been using it for so many year I can't remember how long. But I do remember loading it on a PC with DOS. Great software!

Good software program

I've been using Turbo Tax since at least 1992 if not before and have never had problems filing my taxes with the software. Before Turbo Tax...I dreaded tax season - now I just need to make the time to get everything ready to enter. It does all the calculations - fills in the appropriate numbers in the appropriate places. When there is a question about something you just click on the "Explain" button and the explanation is easy to see if it affects me or not. I believe they've rewritten the tax code explanations for the average taxpayer and not in legaleze language.
What's great about it: User friendly, straightforward instructions, quick, easy, excellent help screens

Neglected to offer to credit my refund toward 2013 estimated tax.
Did not show how to file extension (or estimated tax) electronically
Included forms for 10 dependents that i did not have and had to delete manually
