Improved over last year

Been using Turbotax for many years and all of the interface problems of earlier years have been fixed- I didn't find any this year although our taxes are not extremely complicated. The only confusing thing is that some data was imported from the 2011 return and other was not- for instance, taxpayer data was imported but the IRA basis figures had to be hand-entered this year. Strange- perhaps not all forms were imported in our case. But overall, very good product and well recommended.
What's great about it: Interview process very flexible and much easier to go back and forth as needed compared to previous years.
What's not so great: Not clear why last year's return was not immediately found and info imported.
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Get this product! It triggers questions on all the things you don't even know about--- you could be losing money on possible deductions without it!

When I print my return there is a page that prints out telling me my estimated taxes to pay every qtr in 2013. I have no imntemtion of paying estimated taxes and never implied I was even interested. Someone could easily misunderstand this and pay them even if they wish not to. Every thing else with Turbo Tax is great.

TurboTax...the ONLY way to go!

Can't be beat! Have used Turbo Deluxe for a number of years now and it just keeps getting better and better. On the off chance you have to use Turbo support, they are extrmely professional and polite. It is the only way to go!
What's great about it: Easy, Fast, Accurate.
What's not so great: Never get enough back....imagine that...not Turbo's fault!

Very easy to use. The program goes through everything in order. The deductions portion is especially nice (since it is very easy to under value donated items).
What's great about it: simple to understand, quick
What's not so great: some explanations are weak

Better than expected

As in previous years Turbo Tax exceeded my expectations!! I was worried about how to handle a lump-sum back payment of Social Security benefits. Turbo Tax just asked the right questions and zipped right thru!! Thank you Turbo Tax!
What's great about it: Handled a Social Security lumpsum for previous years with ease!!

Quick and Easy

Quick, simple, accurate.
Would be even quicker if after completing a section, the Guide Me page would return to the next topic in order. Otherwise, one has to scroll down to the topic every single time.

Easy and Detailed

Have been using Turbo Tax for 3 years running. Its affordable, easy to use, and more improtantly it's accurate.
What's great about it: Broke down ever deduction and had very clear instructions
What's not so great: could not import w2's issued by county government
