Calculations and reporting were incorrect

The calculations on the two year comparison worksheets did not show all items for 2012 and SEP IRA calculation (using the maximize) was incorrect-- more than allowed (by almost double from 2011). so, we were suspicious and had to check with a tax preparer.
What's great about it: Pulling in financial information from financial institutions

Efficient Execution!

I have been a user of Turbo Tax for many years. It continues to improve in its efficiency, practical application, logical progression, thoroughness and ease of use, and it saves me a lot of money as compared to paying an accountant, who probably uses Turbo Tax as well! As most know, the majority of time spent regarding taxes is in the record keeping, data collection and preparation, which the individual has to do himself. Once there, Turbo Tax is a breeze and takes very little time and at a cost significantly less than a third party accountant/firm. i highly recommend it to anyone.
What's great about it: Turbo Tax is thorough, logical, and efficient.
What's not so great: No cons

Maximized my deductions!!

I was owing a lot when I did it online with a different product then I tried this one and it gave me deductions that the other products did not.
What's great about it: Easy to use

Convenience is paramount for me. Specifically, I don’t have to look up tax forms, rules, etc. Also, electronic filing is nice - no need for mailing (getting stamps, packaging, etc.).

Easy does it

Have been using for years and each year it gets even easier. Love the auto memory from the previous year especially when nothing changed from the previous year. All my adult children have me file their returns using Turbo Tax.

This is an easy to use product that is accurate. My only dislike is that they continue to charge you too file for state taxes. This is just a profit grab.
