Best feature, download of the ADP furnished information. Because of this feature, entry of the W2 information is sped up 10 to 20 fold. Additionally, The promptness of knowing that the return has been accepted by the IRS is another good feature. In a nutshell, using Turbo Tax to e_file a return is the way to go.
What's great about it: Ease of using the module by module apporach for income and expenses
What's not so great: NO real issuse

Half & Half

I am retired from the Federal Government and work part-time in the state of Alabama. The income from my retirements and social security are taxed on the Federal Form but they are not taxed by the State. However, all the information on the Federal does not carry over to the Al state form. In the section of the AL form that asked if I had any Federal Inome not taxed by the State I had to enter it by the use of overide in the section where it was required. When trying to e-file the state the program required that I cancel the overides and would not continue past that point. If I cancelled that income would be added to the state and thus would be tlaxed. Needs to be fixed.
What's great about it: Excellent with Federal
What's not so great: Does not conform to State requirements.

I have been using TurboTax for over ten years and it makes the terrible process of doing your taxes simple, easy and with confidence. I cannot think how hard it would be to do my taxes if I did not have TurboTax. It's an absolute must!
What's great about it: Easy, thorough and complete
What's not so great: Nothing

One little Glitch
on February 18, 2013

After going through the loop a few times, we decided to go to support and then FAQ. Someone suggested closing out the program and restarting it. It does return to where you left off. It started the state section then. I thought we might have lost somethings, but all was well.
What's great about it: Turbo covers all the bases
What's not so great: Program problem with loading the state section

Disappointed

I have used TurboTax for 8 years and have been happy with it until this year. It could not fine my previous taxes. When I tried to open the file and load it, it did not read the file. Had to start from scracth and manually enter all the tax information. It found a typing error but did not tell me were I could fix it. I had to go page by page to find the error.
What's great about it: Faster then hand writing the forms.
What's not so great: Nothing but trouble this year.
