Works ok but needs to do more to help you

The program is very good and there's little a tax preparation office will do for you. The only issue is it needs to help you with previous returns and pins earlier. If not you've tripled your time finding this at the end because the system is slowed.
I wish you well and may the IRS odds be ever in your favor......
What's great about it: Quick, easy to use. good use of details to explain sections
What's not so great: Didn't give clear up front info
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

best software..very easy to use..everything is explained in detail with easy guides to navigate you around...program saves you hundreds of dollars.
What's great about it: Ease of use!

as confusing as 1040

it feels like you guys just put a blind fold on and said trust me. I feel less confident after using turbo tax than i have ever felt filing on my return. My guess is i can pay more and "buy " this confidence, but i already paid you once.......make a good product or make a cheap product. dont make both and tell me i bought the wrong one.
What's great about it: no paper, quicker
What's not so great: led along with blinders on.

I love turbo tax...but...
I did not like being asked several times to buy into extra fee services...

I'm also disappointed that...because I've filed electronically...turbo tax does not clearly state, or at least I've not seen it anywhere during the filing process, whether or not I have to physically mail a return to the IRS.
What's great about it: ease of use...excellent, intuitive interface.
What's not so great: repeatedly marketing extra fee services...

Relief is using Turbo Tax

I have used Turbo Tax for years. I appreciate the program saves pertinent information and uses it the following year to check for carry-over items.

What's great about it: Turbo Tax allows you to stop, save and start again at any point. Allowing you to work on it when you have time to.
What's not so great: Price?
