Easy to use

I have been using Turbo Tax for 13 years and I am very happy with the service, and the easy way to fill in information. The only thing I am missing is, when I want to change an answer from a No to a Yes, I am not able to go there directly. this is sometimes very frustrating
What's great about it: the easy in giving me all my available deduction
What's not so great: going back and change an answer, finding the form/line item again

The software continues to get tweaked to be a little better each year, and I listed above my appreciation for the import features. I also really appreciate the way the software fills everything in just where it's needed. However, the number of advertising screens is ridiculous, and the e-file fee is far too high. Also, it would be helpful if you had a way for people to go *directly* to the self-directed cover pages for sources of income and for deductions.
What's great about it: imports from financial and brokerage firms, Quicken, & previous return
What's not so great: ridiculously high fee for state e-file (which I didn't use)

Could NOT be any easier

Much better then paying someone you don't know at some storefront you only see during tax season. Also much better than paying someone you might know and trust who is "in the business" and paying an arm and a leg. TurboTax makes it SO incredibly easy, with their step by step list of questions, and they don't seem to ever miss ANYTHING.
What's great about it: Gets everything with detailed list of questions
What's not so great: Some might consider it too "cutesy"

Tool is good and user Friendly, but this is the second year in a row that I needed to enter my E*Trade Securities information since it will not connect.
What's great about it: Grabs all last years data
What's not so great: Still will not connect with E*Trade Account

I've been using TurboTax software for years to do my taxes. It's the least painful way to get taxes done, assure their accuracy, and filed with the IRS.
Well done Intuit!
What's great about it: Easy to use, follow the navigation and you won't get lost
What's not so great: The TurboTax program doesn't fill the entire screen

What's great about it: EASE OF ENTRIES, MAXIMIZED MY REFUND !

Two of us use turbo tax. The first user has no option but to use the free State filing if they want to file. They cannot leave the free State filing for the second user.
I had to search a little more than I would have thought optimal for the way to navigate through my information without going through the interview process.
What's great about it: efficient
What's not so great: can't forgo free state filing
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
