only way to go

anyone can do their taxes very easy and understandable with the questions and explanation
What's great about it: order and complete forms to do the job
What's not so great: only if you cant read or write
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Worst year ever

Unfortunately, this was the worst version of Turbo Tax I have used in the many years that I have been a customer. For example, it checked my return and said that everything was fine even though through an entry error, I had understated my state income by over $100,000 (it apparently didn't notice the discrepancy between my Federal and State returns.
Twice, I got into an endless loop - the second time remins unresolved and I cannot file my state return . I am very disappointed with this year's experience.
What's great about it: As usual, Turbo Tax provides a thorough review of your taxes and helps the user cover all reas.
What's not so great: This year, for the first time, on two separate occassions I have gotten into an endless loop. I still haven't resolvedt

Would be great if the deduct fees from return went through.
What's great about it: easy navigation
What's not so great: tried the deduct fee from my return but was not able too. had to pay fees with credit card.

All in all as an OK experience. Easy to follow. Went straight through in about an hour. Would like to see the capital gains and losses easier to enter. Can't say I enjoy doing taxes but what are you going to do, A necessity in life. I have used your program since it came out. and will continue to do so.
What's great about it: Got all my deductions and no worries about audit
What's not so great: A little slow when it opened up program
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

Another great year of doing tax returns

I am not sure how many times I have now used turbotax but it seems every year it gets easier. Keep up the good work and see you next year.
What's great about it: Just gather records and go. It Actually is fun.
What's not so great: I was lead into purchasing a NH state turbotax program that I really didn't need

Easiest Tax Filing Process!

It is so simple to use. The program walks you though the process - all you need to do is keep track of your records in one place so that when tax time rolls around, you are ready to file via TurboTax! Even the State return was easy to e-file and the price for that filing was very low! Had a small inheritance to report and the program was very helpful with that unusual situation (for me). No sitting in line at tax offices. No sitting in line at the post office to mail the Federal and State returns!
What's great about it: Saves tons of time and headaches!
What's not so great: None

TurboTax is the only way to file. As a 76-year old tax payer, I am astounded by the myriad of forms, crevices and pitfalls created by our IRS system TurboTax ferrets out the best approach and points the way effortlessly.
TurboTax has, and always will be, my choice to unscramble this otherwise chaotic puzzle each and every year.
What's great about it: Easy, remedial and fast
What's not so great: IRS
