I'll Still Use You Again, But........

I have used Turbo tax Delux for 5-6 years and have always LOVED using it, BUT...this year it was very compicated to understand some of the entries and it did not grab last years info from the turbo tax on my computer from last year ( small business calculations can be a nightmare) It took me hours and hours to complete this years taxes. I'm sure it's more user fault then turbo fault, but after 7 hours, you only got an average mark this year. I will still buy turbo tax next year and hope for a speedier tax session.
What's great about it: less expensive then a tax agency, for the most part very informative

Great product. I've used Turbo Tax for 4 or 5 years. I appreciate all the explanations and help when needed.
What's great about it: Easy to use

Great software to save my time

Good to have purchased and filed tax return using TurboTax, though there are some difficult points of filing that are challenge to go through. Overall, it made my life on tax filing easier.

Overall it's a good product but definitely needs work. The process of getting answers is laborious - the TTCommunity is useless - and the wait for a "chat" endless (although very helpful once one gets through). You need more chat help, especially as the deadline draws near. Also there should be a better way to go back to items without having to page through everything. In addition, when an error check was done, the program told me a figure should not be in a particular place, but didn't tell me how or where to go and correct the problem. I spent way too much time paging back and forth. The cost for the state e-filing is ridiculous - way too high and frankly, it cheapens the product to try to collect at the end. It should be free, just as the federal e-filing is. Charge a little more, if you must, but don't 'nickel and dime' your clients when they reach the end, are worn to a frazzle, and just want to be DONE!
Would I buy it again? Sure - I'm always hopeful that the TT people will make improvements during the year. BTW, I'm not a first-time user - just an optimistic returnee!
What's great about it: I like being able to flag a page - very handy. Also the way the program steps one through the process.
What's not so great: Difficult to find answers and to know where to go - the TTCommunity is a waste of time (the blind leading the blind).

Much easier than taking all my records to a tax-preparer, and WAY easier than trying to fill out the forms myself. I have used TurboTax for the last 10 years and will probably use it for the next 10 at least (unless something better comes along, but nothing has so far).
What's great about it: fast, easy step-by-step
What's not so great: charges for e-filing
Pros: I moved, I had a baby, My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Fast and Easy start to finish

I have used TurboTax for many years now and it gets better and easier every year. I wouldn't attempt to do my taxes without it.
What's great about it: Loved that last year's data came in automatically. They made it so easy.
What's not so great: Having to pay to file my state taxes
