Quick and Painless

I have used Turbo Tax Deluxe for several years because it is so easy to use. The program walks me through my return each year, leaving me with a feeling of success and confidence that I haven't missed any deductions or made any errors.
What's great about it: easy to use
What's not so great: have to pay to file state return

GOT IT DONE !

Once again Turbo Tax comes thru. I am getting used to being asked a lot of questions, then being asked the same questions in a different context or different, and then thinking "oh yeah that does apply to me."
Tax forms are very complex now days and I want to be truthful, but not miss something, or otherwise make a mistake and have enforcement problems, or miss a real deduction. Filing tax returns is enough work as it is.
And TT costs a lot less than our CPA (about 75% less) the questions take longer but then we get our completed printed files in a couple minutes, rather than a couple of weeks.

What's great about it: TT asks me all the questions, just like my CPA used at a higher cost!
What's not so great: A couple of times, I worried that it would not let me include a mistake I made on a RMD, but it did.

Easy to Use

Using TurboTax is so much easier than gathering forms and filling tthe forms out by hand.

Turbo Easy

Have used Turbo Tax for years and have always felt it did a good job and did it right. It is easy and direct and helpful. Plus compared to going to someone to do them it is inexpensive. Love it!!
What's great about it: Pulled info from last year, does all the calculations, reviews for missed items or deductions
What's not so great: Could be a little easier to go back to review before filing.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

it really teach me how honestly do my taxes. I have been recruiting all my friends and relatives to use it. I even teached my kids to use it so they can do it themselves in the future. I added task to my student intern to do his taxes and he's really happy about that he now learn how it works. and learn more about taxes. Very user friendly.
What's great about it: guidance and samples are very clear/ really easy to follow

Very Easy

This was very easy this year. I like how everything is transferred over from one year to the other. It would be nice to also have the state free to file. There are only about three pages to mail into your state. I do like how you can preview your information by hitting the page on to your right and if you made a mistake you can delete the form.
What's great about it: Faster to complete this year
What's not so great: You should also have the state free to file.

Refund to the Max

The EZ-guide and additional info buttons made the experience very smooth and I'm very confident I received the maximum refund possible. The additional info was always concise and provided what I sought, eliminating the need to go to an outside source.
What's great about it: Additional info buttons very useful
What's not so great: Takes a long time to load
