Turbo Refund

Turbo tax is great and we will continue to use it for years to come. However at the very beginning of itemizing deductions should be a figure telling you how much you need to get the max deductions
What's great about it: good recommendations
What's not so great: no info on the minimum amount to itemize

Easy process

Really enjoyed the easy to use step-by-step guide that addressed every deduction and allowed me to see my refund amount in real-time as I progressed through the filing process. Filing taxes was a breeze!
What's great about it: Step-by-step detailed guide for first-time self-filers!
What's not so great: Nothing!
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I moved, I bought or sold investments

Fantastic Refund

real easy to use

som times I end up filing unnecessary information and the software should check if I have to first.
What's great about it: checks for lots of deduction
What's not so great: makes one fill in college tuition even if it did not affect the refund

Turbo Tax Saved the Day

Turbo Tax saved the day for me. I waited to the last minute (almost) to file my taxes, (due to a death in the family, my mind was elsewhere) and thanks to Turbo Tax, it was easy, step by step, informative and I HIGHLY Recommend them to do anyone's taxes. Much more reliable and affordable than those pop-up tax sites in the local stores. Turbo Tax stands behind their work too. I got to E-file my Federal and state and now, SIGH of Relief, thats done! Thanks Turbo tax. I will use you again next year.

fast and easy

I have used TurboTax for probably a decade or so. It gets easier every year. Fast and easy to use, to simple walk through makes the cumbersome tax system easy to navigate. With a quick efile included for federal and a state efile that will not break the bank, turbo tax is the best way that I have found to make my annual contribution to Uncle Sam.
What's great about it: simple and thorough, easy to understand
What's not so great: slightly awkward to go back and review data manually, but not really too hard to do

TurboTax Delivers the Goods

TurboTax makes it easy to file. Not so easy to troubleshoot errors that need to be fixed. Had to upgrade my MAC OS to Snow Leopard to run TurboTax for 2012 - an unexpected roadblock.
What's great about it: Easy to Complete, providing you have all your documents handy
What's not so great: Fixing Errors - No guidance on navigating back to forms that need to be fixed
