Highly Surprised

I have used TT since 1996 except for one year when I tried an online service and hated it. . It has always done a good job for me. The user interface has gotten easier and smoother every year.
The only con is that they have not released it for Linux. Really wish they would.
What's great about it: The interface is getting smoother every year. Love the import features.
What's not so great: Does not run on Ubuntu. Next year Win xp gets dumped and I will be totally Ubuntu.

Aliens have landed or Taxes are Easier to DO!!!

I have been using TurboTax for the past 10 + years and have been steadily impressed on the ease of using the application, accuracy of the tool. I am so happy TurboTax is so intuitive and easy to use it removes the angst preparing taxes by hand. Any other method is pure silly putty., you can do it, but the results are fuzzy, blurred and not really accuraate.

Why is TT donation items amount is different than It's Deductible amount for the same entries?
What's great about it: Easy to use.
What's not so great: Cost of the product is too high.

I have used Turbo Tax since 2004.
I enjoy doing the taxes for myself and my family.
Turbo Tax makes it easy and enjoyable. I like the hands on aspect of taking care of my own taxes. Turbo tax keeps me on my toes to be organized all year so when it is time to do my taxes, everything I need is right at my finger tips!
Thank you Turbo Tax for another easy year of staying organized and prepared to do my taxes!

Ease of Use

I am completing my aunt's taxes, she gets social security checks and she is claimed by her son. I would like turbo tax to guide through the forms that she would have to complete.
What's great about it: I tried TaxCut once but I like the way TurboTax screens are easy to follow.

I have been using TurboTax for many years and I always find it very easy and convenient to use this relieable self guiding program to do my taxes year in and year out! Doesn't matter if I get a refund or have to pay, TurboTax has always helped get the dreaded task off my list!!!
