Good tax tool

I have been using the TurboTax CD SW for many years. It saves time to re-enter a lot of personal information for everyone in the family. The data import from financial institutions is a good feature. More and more institutions are on the list for data import.
What's great about it: Easy to use. Interface is intuitive. Answer questions on the same page
What's not so great: The desk top SW takes too much computer resource to run, and more year after year over the years

Easy and Save Money

I have been used TurboTax software since 2005 and I like it. TurboTax software is easy to use and save your records. You will save time to re-type a lot of data and reduce the typing error. TurboTax will auto check your file after you finish enter all the info and data. It will correct your mistakes and remind you something you forget to enter.
What's great about it: Easy guide is good and transfer my file from 2011 to 2012 is fast.
What's not so great: Why I still need to update the software in April? Choose to file state tax return by e-file or by mail is not clear.

Quick & Easy!

Turbo Tax is a great way to file your taxes - the program walks you through everything step-by-step, asking questions to make sure you haven't forgotten anything. Love that it imports my information from last year and lets me see how my filing compares to the previous year.
What's great about it: Turbo Tax holds my hand and walks me through filing with confidence!
What's not so great: Wish one state e-filing was included as well.

The system flows well and raises questions as you go along.

Two days to go! AZ paid with Visa & ERROR!!

Got to the end, Visa paid for AZ e-file. Then took 2 hours looking at "FORMs" to get rid of an error "AZ Mun Int or ??" Deleted on form and crossed fingers... Review passed --
No instructions to tell me to go there; deleted some "Zero's" on a form aparently not needed.
Was just getting ready to print and mail after my VISA was ecepted.

I enjoyed the encouragement and continual help along the way... if I wasn't sure about any entry, there was always multiple ways of receiving help.
