No Longer Confused

Ever since investments were a part of my return I have had someone else prepare my return. It just seemed too confusing. Now after doing it myself I am no longer intimidated by all the forms. THANKS TURBO TAX!
What's great about it: All forms I needed were included and the help pages really were pages were a help.
What's not so great: None from this user

Easiest way to file your own taxes

I've been using TurboTax every year since 1995 and it has never steered me wrong yet. If your tax situation is relatively easy, you don't need to pay anyone to do your taxes, just get TurboTax and do it yourself! You can do it in 3-4 hours total, and you can e-file and save your return as a PDF file.
What's great about it: TurboTax calculates everything for you
What's not so great: If you have any questions, it's not that easy to find answers

I use Turbo Tax every year it help take the pressure off the head of house hold like myself. No one wants to do taxes because of the complexity and liability. However Turbo Tax makes it easier to to do. Thanks

This was the first time I've even filed with Zero due or payable. This was partial due to all the question you asked. I due wish the program showed total credits befoe the final screens.
What's great about it: Asking about all the deductiions & credits
What's not so great: Asking about the rent pd when not deductible

Returned to Turbo Tax after two years of hassling with a CPA who forgot to submit my taxes from last year and was hassled by the IRS.
What's great about it: Avoided dealing with a **** CPA
