I like the questions. There are certain calculations I don't understand, but Turbo Tax does it for me.
What's great about it: It is a time saver if you have used it the year before!

Great Help!

When I was married filing jointly, I was TOLD the only way to go was to have another person prepare my taxes. But, I always felt I didn't know if I had gotten the best deductions or what to do different for next year.
Then, when I go divorced I tried the competitor program (Tax Cut) but the questions and directions were very confusing.
Then my brother said to use Turbo Tax and I love it!
I just answer the program's questions and if I have questions about what anything means, there are explanations, a community of knowledgeable people to answer, or one on one tax help available. I like knowing that I can go back and change things. I like learning about what would help me next year.
If I want to see what the forms look like with the information I input, I can see them.
I would recommend this program to everyone. It's like doing your taxes with a friend at your side.

What's not so great: There were some questions that could have been calculated for me... 12% increase from last year? How do I figure it out

Best Tax Prep software!! So efficient to use. Reusing last years basic data & then being stepped through to update the current years actual entries.
What's great about it: Step by step ease of use
What's not so great: Need reminder of IRA option just before filing

This is the fifth year I have turbo tax. I continue to use it due to its very user friendly interface.
What's great about it: Asked questions about deductions I wouldn't have thought about otherwise
What's not so great: Repeats questions several times

What's not so great: Understanding how TurboTax handled HSA was difficult. Cost of state tax for deluxe package.

Overall very helpful and reminded me of items I may have otherwise missed. Good progression through the steps.
What's great about it: Leads you well with the step by step approach and allowing skipping of topics not relevant.
What's not so great: Not intutive to view a form while going through inputs

Easiest Tax Return Ever!

I've been using Turbo Tax for many years, and this year seemed the easiest ever. The feature of loading the previous year's data is very nice. I rarely have to refer to my paper files for previous years. This makes capital loss carryover and refinance "point" carryover very easy to deal with. Overall, this is GREAT tax software -- so many nice features, they're almost too numerous to count.
What's great about it: The "guide" makes everything easy
What's not so great: No cons. I liked every feature.
