Wonderful Software

I have used Turbo Tax for the last 7 Years. I tried TaxAct one year and ended up buying Turbo Tax again. Turbo Tax is so easy to just answer questions and in a few minutes I'm done with my taxes. Never had an error and was never disappointed thinking I should have gotten a larger refund.
What's great about it: Easy to use, accurate, well written.
What's not so great: Asks questions multiple times
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Meets expectations but...

I have been using turbotax for 5 years straight and continues to meet all expectations. It's clear and easy to understand. However, stop increasing prices! For this reason, I may stop using this software next year and try another source.
What's great about it: Easy to use and carries over previous years numbers
What's not so great: Becoming too expensive!

What's great about it: Once again it was a pleasure to use TurboTax software.
What's not so great: Something was wrong with the software I purchased regarding my Montana State Return. The Federal Return was fine.

Still luv my Turbo Tax!

In all the many years I have used TT, this was the first year with issues. They drove us all mad on the chats with lack of answers...but quickly (within 1-2 days) they were on top of it & problem was fixed. Just they sent a misleading email one time & no email the next. Frustrating - but finally fixed. I will continue to use TT.
What's great about it: I've used for years - always easy & friendly!
What's not so great: Error Issue - 1st time

This year's 2012 version of Turbo Tax was just a pain to get through. I had to recycle through deductions and credits several times in order to get the correct information for a dependent listed on my state tax form. The heading for the dependent was labeled differently on the work sheet than it was on the 1040A form. I'd much rather input data that shows up on the 1040 as you are typing it in. Need a display inset of the original tax document in real time. It would eleminate any confusion about different titles.
What's great about it: federal form was quick and easy
What's not so great: work sheet differs from forms; state e-file not available early thus made it hard to fill in

What's great about it: Step by step approach is easy to follow.
What's not so great: Had a little trouble downloading state, but helpdesk was quick to respond.

This is my first year doing taxes by myself and I feel so dumb for not even doing this sooner. It was self explanatory, super easy, and i saved money filing on my own! love turbo tax, thanks for giving me my maximum refund!!!!!
