Turbo tax should be able to pull my data from every year that I use it. Since I have been using it as far back as I can remember it should be able to show trends graphs each year. I also would like to see a discount for loyal customers.
What's great about it: I use Turbo tax every year, Overall it works good.
What's not so great: It never grabs all the data from previous year. I always have to look myself.

I've used TurboTax ever since it came out and it's never failed to satisfy me. About 3 years ago, I decided to purchase the less expensive competitor software and give it a try. I returned the software the following day and purchased TurboTax. I'll never try that again. You just can't beat the ease of using this software.
What's great about it: Easiest tax prep you'll ever use!
What's not so great: Taxes are a downer!

When e-filing it asks for the Federal pin then when you go to file it asks for a 5 digit pin when you should call it a 5 digit signature, especially when what is there is the same 5 digit Federal pin you previously entered.
When you go to make any change in a section you have to go through the whole section again in order for that change to register.This can be very frustrating.

I wish it was easy enough for my husband, who is not very computer savey, to use
What's great about it: ability to download info directly from banks , etc.
What's not so great: having to go through entire section to make any changes.

Thorough but owe

I love using Turbo Tax. I do my taxes and my sons' taxes using Turbo tax so that is three returns! It is thorough and detailed and covers a variety of tax situations. I like the ease of transferring information from one year to the next. My only difficulty this year was finding information that dealt with an ISO short term gain. We were very uncertain as to whether we needed to report via AMT and quite confused. It took going back through numerous IRS documents to find the answer. Turbo Tax had filled in correctly but there was a lack of explanation about why and answers conflicted somewhat. All and all glad to once again be done thanks for most part to Turbo Tax!

I have been using TurboTax for years and find the program extremely user friendly. The detailed guide that walks you through the whole tax return is easy to follow and the helpful links help you to understand areas where you might have a question. Even when I had issues downloading the software from the website the customer support team was extremely helpful in resolving the issue.
What's great about it: easy to use, simple enough that anyone should be able to file their own taxes using TurboTax

Problems with updates, but finally Fed and State updates were successful when filing Fed return.
Major problem having to fill out vehicle and mileage form for transportation/commute info, which was not needed.
