Conistent and simple every year

I have used Turbo Tax for many years and I really appreciate how easy it is to use from year to year. When you are able to start by importing the previous year's return, most of the work is already done unless you have major changes in your tax status. Each step shows what you did last year and gives you the opportunity to modify the details, add or remove information. The user interface remains consistent enough from year to year that there are no surprises.
If you are new to Turbo Tax the easy question/answer format works through all the possible tax related questions and it has plenty of help available to answer any questions you may have.
Overall, I couldn't be happier!

Turbo tax is very easy to sue. I have used this software for many years without one problem.

Awsome Customer Service!

I really like using Turbo Tax because why should you give your money to someone when this guides you throughout the whole process. With TT you can list all deductions and get all the credits that you have coming to you. You are also able to E-file and get your return back fast. Some things may be hard to understand, not being a tax preparer but the customer service people are great, they were able to answer all my questions and walk me through the tough spots. Thanks TT
What's great about it: Walks you step by step and jogs your memory so you won't miss a deduction
What's not so great: There are some areas that TT does not understand what you mean or vice vs

Love the fact that it loads previous years information so you dont have to key it all over!

Seemed Much Easier this Year

For some reason, doing my taxes seemed so much easier this year. I've been using TurboTax for years, and this year was easy as usual. I love how it transfers my data from previous years, and even reminds me of deductions I made last year but forgot to add this year.
What's great about it: Very Easy to Use - Walked right through my Fed & State Return
What's not so great: A little slow on my clunky laptop
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

City Tax Forms were clunky

Overall TurboTax worked well for the federal and state returns. But it messed up in the income allocation section of the non-resident city tax return. Actual work location should not be imported from the W-2 because many large companies' addresses are not the same as the work location. This should be separately entered to ensure correct addresses. (At one point it had the correct cities of actual work location, but inserted the street address of the parent company headquarters off the W-2.) More room (multiple lines) in the override information on the city tax return forms would be helpful. At least it was possible this year to put in overrides for corrections.
What's great about it: e-filed well, did a lot of the tough calculations well
What's not so great: bad importation of actual location worked, not enough room for override
