On the whole Turbotax has been an easy and quick program that reminds me of all the details of the information I need entered to complete my taxes. I found that when I had questions, in the past it would look at the tax information available in tax publications or available through turbotax but on this version it seemed as if the "community" questions and answers were the only place i was sent for responses to my questions. The Turbotax help didn't work as well as I've experienced when working on previous returns.
What's great about it: Detailed, Concise, and Quick
What's not so great: Need better access to help from turbotax not just community

WILL NOT PRINT LINE 37 OF 1040 IT CUTS IT IN HALF I DONT LIKE E FILE HAVE TO GET PIN AND WASTE TIME USED TURBO FOR YEARS THIS ONE IS A BIG DISAPPOINTMENT CALLED FRIENDS THEY SAY SAME THING PRINTER CUTS OFF LINE 37 AND PRINTS HALF OF IT

very good way to do taxes

I like how everything is checked a couple of times so you can be sure you did not make an error
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Could not efile

I've used Turbo Tax for years with great success, but this year I can not e-file because the program will not let me save my return. I'm very disappointed and don't know how to resolve.

Doing the family taxes

Overall, my TurboTax experience (my first) was positive. After years of having our taxes done professionally, I found myself needing to do them on my own. I had never done taxes since being married (over 20 years). And, not only did I file my husband and my taxes, I also had to file for my son. After a few stumbling blocks, I did get things figured out and managed to maximize refunds for all of us!
What's great about it: Step by step guidance
What's not so great: Still a little confusing at times

Turbo Tax was very easy to use. Beats going to a pro.
What's great about it: The Easy Guide was very helpful and user friendly.
What's not so great: All the backspacing to get to where I wanted to go while working on the state portion.
