Somewhat Confusing

My employer did not withhold my state taxes for the right state. Turbotax did not make me aware of this, so I thought i had to file with two states. Long story short, I had to ask for the second state to be refunded because I only need to file with one state.
What's great about it: Simple steps
What's not so great: No help when you come across questions
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I moved

The only way to do taxes

TurboTax walks you through the process and if you use the same computer year after year, it remembers stuff about you so the first year takes a while to do. We aren't very fancy in terms of having stuff but as the years have gone by, we have had more "stuff" and TurboTax has grown with us. Cheaper than a professional. If my husband didn't play dumb, he could do it: So easy a caveman can do it.
What's great about it: easy and guided
What's not so great: not-manproof, you still have to do taxes

Turbo Tax 2012

I like Turbo Tax once I finally get it installed and updates downloaded which took way too long. It took a total of 5 hours from installation to completion. Too long for me.
What's great about it: Ease with guidance

Great Advice

Turbo Tax makes it easy to wade through the mire and file your returns on time. Without it I would need to have a tax professional file my returns.
What's great about it: Good Advice and easy to follow

Turbo tax is a great program. Very helpful. Ask all the questions needed to get the maximum return.

Taxes Done For Another Year

During the federal process Turbo Tax recognized my residence is in Florida and that there is no state income tax. Get to the end of the federal process and after the review why try and sell me the state software when Turbo Tax already recognizes I have no need for for the state software?
