Yay for Turbotax!

I was totally pleasantly surprised that I was getting a refund because I lost one of my deductions (daughter got a job)! So I'm thrilled. My only issue was that i didn't see how to get to certain forms (e.g., Schedule C) so I could review it before being printed. I wasn't sure whether I had entered the HSA info correctly and couldn't find those questions again. Other than that, I've been using TurboTax for many years and it's terrific. (I used to do taxes by hand in the old days....what a blessing to have TurboTax!)

TURBOTAX needs to make form 8283 easier to modify the "date of the contribution" to "Various", without having to find the overwrite, for the many of us who make several donations each year to the same place and provide a combined list.

Turbo Tax and Quicken

I have been using Quicken and Turbo Tax since they were introduced. If you keep up with your Quicken entries, filing your taxes is a breeze.
Once you print out all your tax accounts (or transfer them - I prefer to print them out), it's just a matter of inserting the numbers and you're DONE!!!
What's great about it: Does all the work for you
What's not so great: Very little to dislike, if anything

I have used TurboTax for many years now. I enjoy it's guidance and ease of use. I like the ability to have questions answered by knowledgable persons. I like being able to jomp from section to section if needed. I REALLY like the error checks at the end to make sure I didn't miss anything or mess anything up.
What's great about it: Is thorough and efficient. Easy and well answered
What's not so great: It's taxes! That is about it.

Used TurboTax for several years. Continues to help me get things right the first time, especially with multiple Fed and State forms.

Had a FHA RE-FI, Turbo tax was not clear as where or how to write off some of the closing costs, such interest, PMI.
What's great about it: EASY TO USE TO A POINT
What's not so great: Re-finance of a mortgage are not easy to follow in Turbo Tax
