I was so nervous to complete my own taxes this year. I was able to complete our Federal return in an hour. I was able to file two state returns and was talked through both of them step-by-step!! Great service for a great price!!! Thank you Turbo Tax!!!!
What's great about it: step-by-step directions
What's not so great: Didn't find any!!!
Pros: I had a baby, My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I moved

We've been using Turbo Tax for years ! My husband and I now have Turbo Tax automatically reordered every year because this tool saves us so much money! It is easy to use and very reliable. We have never experienced a problem. Our returns are always error free and have the maximum allowable deductions. We are permanently team TurboTax!
What's great about it: Step by step guidance
What's not so great: Nothing comes to mind
Pros: I moved, I bought or sold investments

I am happy to have Turbo Tax and still be preparing our own taxes.
What's great about it: Almost everything about Turbo Tax
What's not so great: Had to enter 4 1099 R forms three times before we got it right. Also was puzzled by IRA base

Excellent tax tool

Best tax tool available, beats going to some tax shop and dumping your life history to a perfect stranger. Who knows what they may do with it !!!
What's great about it: Available for the past 29 years and hope it is for the next 20+ years
What's not so great: Hard to make changes when line item is pink or blue and info is requested or is incorrect on forms

it could have been worse

Turbo tax overall is a good program. However, each year they lack explaining all the questions well and there seemed to be glitches early this year in the earlier versions before updates. This would cause delay in some of the timeliness of getting forms filed. Otherwise, this program still tends to be my first choice in order to file taxes each year.
What's great about it: efile abilities, abilities to load w4's, and ability to check last years info even though we have a different computer
What's not so great: confusion on some of the questions that werent clearly explained in help section.

Good for my use

Program was easy to follow but I did not like the splash screen at the beginning of each session. Federal filing was very easy. Now if you can do the state return filing for free everything would be great.
What's great about it: Easy-to-follow. The bookmarks are very nice.
What's not so great: Get rid of the introductory splash screen, and when do I know that I have the latest federal forms if they change every
