Turbo Tax works nicely for simple to moderate tax returns - no issues!
What's great about it: user friendly
What's not so great: too many screens - ask pertinent questions on the same screen when possible

Unexpected Refund

I have used turbo tax the last 5 years and by far this is the best and easiest to use. I honestly think the deluxe is the way to go.
What's great about it: Whats not to like, easy and quick

Can't Complain

I know they have to charge for something, so I'm not mad about it. But other than the fact that doing taxes isn't much fun that was the only thing that bothered me.
What's great about it: Easy, maximum refund
What's not so great: Payment required for more states and state e-file
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I moved

This year, for the first time since I started using Intuit and subsequently TurboTax, the California program is terrible. Your suggested fix refers to Forms that are not even part of your program.

I like that TurboTax can use the data from Quicken in seamless integration. If I need to know where the data came from, I have access to that information. E-filing is free for Federal Tax. I can see more information related to the questions that TurboTax asked to know. It's important to me to know why the IRS wants to know.
Support from tax experts and the community of TurboTax users has been available to me when I have questions for which answers are not immediately available. Updates to TurboTax that become available are provided automatically. I usually wait until near the filing deadline to make sure I have all the updates available prior to then. I pay attention to the advice given by TurboTax for next year so I can be proactive about my finances. I also like that TurboTax stands behind their product. Audit Support is included FREE with all TurboTax products. The Audit Support Center application has helped me when I've received Notices from the IRS such as Automated Under-reporting Letters for which a responses is required. The advice given was spot on and the sample response letters helped me compose my own letter.

What's great about it: No bugs, no errors, no audits, no accountants, no lawyers
What's not so great: It can't detect human error! It's not free or 100% Tax credit.

Like Will do again, HAve been a TurboTax filer for over 10 years
What's great about it: easy to use and explained process well
What's not so great: Would like it to download all 1099 and W2's
