It seems that the program will not retain my yes/no answers. Every time I go back thru the program, I have to answer the yes/no question again. I would hope if I answer a question, the program would retain the answer.
What's great about it: Good step by step.
What's not so great: Always feel like I'm missing something.

I started my taxes in January and I worked on them when I had time and I just finished them 04.12.13 I go over every single deduction. I have been using TurboTax for 10 years great product.
What's great about it: great product I worked on my taxes when I wanted to not when the CPA was available
What's not so great: none

Much larger refund than I expected.

I've been using TurboTax for over 6 years, and love it. It goes through all possible deductions in case I forgot about something. Importing last year's deduction info makes it so much easier.
What's great about it: Finding values of donated items was very easy and helpful.

Having used Turbo Tax for many years we have always felt it has given us complete and honest information. We would highly recommend anyone doing their own taxes to utilize Turbo Tax,

Taxes Without Pain!

First, Turbo tax is elastic -- if you want to go "deep" you can. Otherwise, you can skip over the really intricate aspects that don't apply to you.
I've used Turbo Tax now for several years and I feel as though I get a fair shake (even though my sister used to be a tax preparer herself and isn't crazy about "automatic" tax preparation. Too bad, Sis!
What's great about it: Liked the prompts for things I didn't think of, but found them important
What's not so great: Really not much not to like!

Was audited for 2009; the filing and detail worksheets were invaluable.
What's great about it: does all calcs; makes decisions (AMT, Foreign tax WH..)
What's not so great: NONE
Pros: I bought or sold investments
