Easy!

Good program. Been using it for years. TurboTax thought a zero cost basis for a "Cash in Lieu" investment transaction was an error and wanted me to change it. The program could use a little guidance for the user in this case.
What's great about it: Easy to use!
What's not so great: Confused by zero cost basis.

Simplify foreign tax credit inputs if the total is less than 300/600.
Rollover estimates that are set up. Ask for confirmation that they were paid.
What's great about it: Transfer of info; interview
What's not so great: Foreign tax is complicated especia;;y for those under $300/600 threshhold

Use Turbo Tax Every Year

I'd like a little bit more explanation on some of the questions. for example: I didn't know what was meant by the part about the amount of my car loan and the trade-in. Also, I did a lot of leg work to enter my work expenses and they did not end up being deductible. It would be good to have an estimate up front to see if it is worth it to try. It was easier to check to see if I lived in a RITA municipality.
What's great about it: Better access to quick answers than last year. Great job at helping me enter my deductions and earnings..
What's not so great: Sometimes, I still didn't know what I was supposed to enter.

Filing easier after ID theft

After having gone through ID theft last year and all the necessary phone calls and paperwork and police procedures and having to wait for 6 months to get our refund, Turbo tax made tremendous improvements to assist the people who had ID theft problems. With the inclusion of a specific place to include our special pin number and the options to allow us to e-file with our special code, made our completion of e-filing a very simple procedure. We appreciate your changes.

Since Ohio has free electronic filing, that should carry through to TurboTax.
What's great about it: Easy to use, done before you know it.
What's not so great: paying for state return when Ohio has free electronic filing

What's great about it: Love that Turbo Tax imports prior years info
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
