Tip-toed thru my taxes!

TurboTax walked me through every tax entry no matter how unlikely it pertained to our household.
What's great about it: TurboTax is very easy to use right out of the box!
What's not so great: The price tag is a little high.

Tried H&R block program last year because it was cheaper, however did not like it as much as previous years using Turbo Tax. Returned to Turbo Tax this year and will stay with it. Thank you.

Simplified

I have used Turbo tax for at least the last four years. It's great how information is populated from the previous tax year. Simplification is great. I also am impressed with how there are numerous checks to try and make sure that maximum refund amounts can be obtained. It's like having your own personal tax accountant, only better! Thank you!
What's great about it: Easy step by step guidance through return.
What's not so great: All was awesome!

Intuit should take over the IRS

For more than a decade, I have used TurboTax to file my taxes. The few times when I had problems, the support staff were patient and helped resolve them, whether it was a (minor) bug in the program, or a failure to load all the files, or even a hardware problem on my end.
I recommend TurboTax to my friends. My enemies can ask the IRS for help!
What's great about it: Makes the nearly impossible tax codes merely annoying
What's not so great: I miss the automatic back-up to CD.

I've used TurboTax for over 10+ years, I have filed single, with kids, without kids, married separate and together. It's always done a great job. I guess if it didn't I would be getting a bigger bill to pay. I recommend it to everyone, it's cheaper than having a CPA do them and tell you the same as TurboTax and you still have to dig up all the information no matter which you use.
What's great about it: Easy to use, keeps records, gives comparisons,
What's not so great: Wish it could give me more personal perspective on finances and how to pay less if even possible?

Turbo Tax Fast and Easy

I have used Turbo Tax every year for the Past 5 years. It is fast easy to use efficient and convenient. I get all my refund and it prompts me to enter things I didn't even know I could deduct. Love it.

This is not so easy

In the end, I am not sure if this software gets you the maximum possible returns. It makes it clear if you are missing information so you don't file a return with missing info. There comes a time that you need another opinion. It time for me to see if this is really doing me justice.
What's great about it: Takes all the data form previous years and compares
What's not so great: its not clear to me what information is required from uploaded data from my brokerage accounts
Pros: I bought or sold investments
