Easy to use and carries over information from one year to the next. Makes e-filing easy. Does all the work for me all you got to do is enter the info

Been using it for several years -- much cheaper and faster than an accountant unless you own a business,
What's great about it: Fairly straight forward and nice not to have to do calculations myself
What's not so great: Sometime a little tedious.

10 Years and Counting

I think this will make 10 years now that I have used Turbo Tax, and this is the first year that I actually had the opportunity to put in returns with my kids, and then take them out to see if they would be better on their own. Managing college costs, kids deductions and an expanding level of complication with investment income gets easier every year. I would recommend this to everybody.
What's great about it: Investment issues get tougher every year, and TurboTax gets easier
What's not so great: Absolutely nothing

Easy-again!

It's been a number of years now that I've used Turbotax to do my filings. Very satisfied with the results - and I've learned how to keep my information during the year to make the process flow pretty effortlessly.
I'd recomment Turbotax for ease -- For my return, I can't imagine wasting the time to understand all the various forms and schedules, and the requirement to carry information from one form to another. While the tax pros can do all that without thinking too hard, I'm not a pro and don't want to become one. Let Turbotax do all the work and organize it for ease of completion.
What's great about it: Easy to follow flow-instructions available when question occurs
What's not so great: Can't think of any

Made it easy!

Overall, great. I wish there was a little more online help available in the real-time, if it was needed. I always worry I'm missing something big that we'd get if we used an accountant, but that may just be paranoia! Overall, it's our 3rd year using Turbo tax and I'd do it again!
What's great about it: Easy to fill out and the "what's this?" link was very helpful!
What's not so great: Nothing I can think of ...

Is there any way to put your deductions in first.
What's great about it: Could see last year's numbers for comparison as it walked me through the program.
What's not so great: Running refund or tax liability can be depressing early.

Another great experience

We've been using Turbo Tax for several years, and every year is better than the last. So simple to use, and with the guided review I feel confident that I haven't missed anything. My only complaint is with the Charitable Donations section, specifically trying to enter donated items. It works well for donating used items to charity, but not all item donations are used. We purchased various new items that we donated to our church for different projects such as Vacation Bible School supplies and various items to be placed in children's Christmas boxes. The drop down boxes don't contain any choices that apply, and there is no way to indicate that the items were new. There needs to be a way to enter these type items .
What's great about it: Concise, thorough
What's not so great: Charitable donations section
